BITS Pilani has released the marking scheme along with the BITSAT 2025 exam pattern. For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 3 marks. However, if the candidate marks the wrong answer, then 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. Before the examination, the candidates are advised to carefully check the marking scheme, so that they are aware of how they will be marked for their answers. Since there is negative marking, the candidates are advised to leave the questions unattempted, if they are not sure of the answers.

No, you don’t need to prepare for BITSAT separately. I think no one does that. You can focus on BITs in last one month. Syllabus of JEE and BITs are same. You have to prepare only for English and aptitude. That can be done very easily. Prepare for JEE main but also focus on some basic concepts as BITSAT check your concepts. You can join any good coaching institute. You should start solving previous years’ questions and mock papers as this will boost your confidence and will help you in understanding paper pattern and types of questions asked. You can join online test series to habituate yourself to sit for 3 hours in front of computer system. Hope it helped.
